“Life”
This word can and does encompass substantially different amounts of meaning. Both “meaningless” and “meaningful” types. To determine what is meaningful is a deep and ever-deepening rabbit hole which I won’t discuss here. But differentiating between the two, and discovering how to live a life of meaning, that goes beyond a passing moment of pleasure, is difficult.
Our search for meaning, which is intrinsically rooted within us, is a question and quest that has always been hiding within and will never fade. It can be suppressed, misguided, ignored and even passively attempted to answer without knowing. But it can never be deleted from our DNA. It is simply a part of us. If you are looking to dive into that rabbit hole of life’s meaning, Viktor Frankl went down the hole and came back with some answers in his book “Man’s Search For Meaning”.
