When looking at our lives, there is so much to ponder in the past and countless opportunities to embrace in the future. But there is no more important time then the present. As cliché as this can be, it still holds just as true.
Moments are always fleeting, and this is the very reason why they can become so timeless. We must enjoy the moments we find ourselves in, the here and now. Instead of exchanging present moments for pondering past ones and longing for new ones. We simply must choose to act and enjoy the here and now. I’ll leave it at that, do with it what you may.
“I can feel guilty about the past, apprehensive about the future, but only in the present can I act. The ability to be in the present moment is a major component of mental wellness.”- Abraham H. Maslow
“This is the real secret of life – to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play.” – Alan Watts
“How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.” – Anne Frank
“We all have possibilities we don’t know about. We can do things we don’t even dream we can do.” – Dale Carnegie
