They Just Pop Up
No matter who you are and what type of life you live, you are bound and sure to eventually have a bad day. It might not be a terrible day, but it will be just a plain old bad day. No matter how far you get in bettering your life, there will be those days where you wake up and things just don’t feel right. It just feels like you are fighting against the wind. The funny thing is that some of these bad days happen right after your greatest days. When you think that life couldn’t be going any better, a bad day pops up and brings to back.
You Can’t Get Rid Of Them All
As we grow we are able to have fewer and fewer bad days, but I believe that the extinction of all the bad days is impossible. There are reasons for those bad days and we must choose to persevere through them. Even though it is hard to understand why they have to happen. On the days when the sun is hidden by clouds and you can’t seem to shake that unwelcoming feeling. You must choose to weather the storm and to make sure that the sun will shine upon you in the new day to come.
Be Watchful
To make sure that the storm passes with the night and the new day brings a bright and shining sun, you must be ever watchful in your storms. First you must remember that a bad day will only last for a day. For tomorrow truly brings new opportunities and a fresh start. So with this in mind, try and make sure that tomorrow will shine all the brighter, while among the dark clouds of today.
Don’t Make Bad Decisions. Rather, Just Don’t Make Any At All
It is important not to make any life decisions or judgments about situations or people while experiencing a bad day. Usually our judgment is on a pretty poor level. Decisions made on a bad day are usually similar in comparison to deciding that there is no sun just because it is hidden behind the clouds. If you make a decision on a bad day. Then wait until tomorrow and re-evaluate it. Then you can decide if what you thought is accurate or just basic hogwash. This is important because decisions made on a bad day can destroy the possibility of having a great tomorrow.
Go Back To Pre-School
A simple remedy which can turn most bad days around, is a tasty snack and a nice nap. This is most likely the reason why preschoolers can be so happy and are usually not walking around with their heads hung low. Taking this page out of their coloring books can help remedy our bad days. It is as simple as a little bit of rest and some food to help clear up some of those thoughts which bring us down.
Just Relax
Doing something that you enjoy, which is less mentally taxing, will help you to just relax in the midst of a bad day. Maybe it is watching a favorite TV episode, listening to some of your favorite songs, taking a walk in the woods, going for a run, or working out. If faith is a part of your life, even if it is not, then the most helpful thing you can do is to pray about your bad day. These things can change your perspective and turn your day around quickly.
They Are Going To Happen, Be Ready
Bad days will happen, but we must try and limit their effects on our lives. In turn we can lessen the number of bad days we encounter. We must always remember that a single bad day does not equal a bad life. The reason why days are 24 hours long, is so that a bad day doesn’t have to last any longer.
