So many people are not who they want to be, but they never do anything to change. And why? Because it is just too hard. There are those who simply close their eyes and go through life in a sedated state, ignoring their dreams and the things that will make their lives more than just an existence. All because they don’t want to try and change those things in life that make them unhappy.
There is no excuse for not trying to make the most out of each breath that you are breathing. Every day we need to make the small decisions that will bring us closer to being who we want to be in our own lives. With this we must remember that today is all we have, and that you can never live in yesterday or tomorrow, but only in today.
If we looked at our lives as the sum of all our days, then maybe we would put more importance in those simple days which seem like they have nothing to offer. We can only become who we want to be by the small choices we make within these days. This is easy to forget, but it is the difference in actually reaching what you want to obtain in life, instead of having life pass before your eyes without having any say in where it is going. Today is all that you will ever have because tomorrow never comes, it just becomes another today.
Remember each day to try and do the things that will help you smile when asking if you are who you want to be. And never, ever, close your eyes to the life that lies before you this day.
